Picture perfect gamefowl

What would you consider to be picture perfect gamefowl? Would it be their station, feather color, quickness, or a combination of everything?

What is it about famous breeders like E.T. Piper who ended up with the beautiful and picture perfect Albany gamefowl. What did himself know along with other famous breeders know that we cant grasp today? What about Mr. W.L. Allen who came up with the extremely popular Allen Roundhead gamefowl? I could go on and on naming names but I wont at this moment.

In conclusion, there are many breeders of gamefowl all around the world. However with the laws the way they are now most will never get the recognition shared by great gamefowl breeders of the past.

Breeders Of Gamefowl Are You Out There?

This is an introductory post about gamefowl as I am wondering who might just find it. I am a lover of gamefowl as are thousands of other individuals across the nation and 100’s of thousands worldwide. The chickens known as gamefowl started from the Red Junglefowl, the very first breed of chicken. Of all the various species of poultry that now exist there is no doubt that gamefowl are the most beautiful of them all as you can see in some of these gamefowl photos.

I wanted to say hello and invite any other gamefowl breeders to chat along as I build on this blog. The blog will be updated regularly and I look forward to building a history of gamefowl.
